Poppies for Remembrance

A short practice on Photoshop in between exercise and cleaning the kitchen. The red poppy became a symbol of the soldiers who died in combat in World War 1. My heart goes out to all the families of those who have fought in service of their country. The brightness of the red evokes the color of bloodshed, but also the fragility and determination of life, attempting to continue, at the same time.
