SVSlearn.com has a class called “How to Fix Your Art”. There’s a checklist of over 100 things to have in your art portfolio. Yesterday I did this frog face for the amphibian prompt. I had fun starting on paper with a blue pencil, then scanning and working some more with Procreate on iPad, and kept it all on one layer. Amphibians have a certain skin texture that’s wonderful and I felt that I could keep drawing and detailing forever, but I only gave myself a couple hours to work on it, and then I moved on with my life. My kids like to say “Fwog” instead of frog.
